John Lewis has revealed that its online fashion sales have more than doubled since it launched its dedicated fashion website in September.
Womens-wear sales online have rocketed 300%.
As Retail Week went to press parent John Lewis Partnership - which also owns Waitrose - was expected to reveal pre-tax profits of about £315m in the year to January 31, compared with £280m last year. Staff were expected to receive 14% of their annual salary as a bonus.
