Waitrose managing director Mark Price won the Oracle Outstanding Contribution to Retail accolade at the Retail Week Awards with Oracle.

Price was presented with the award by BBC economics editor Kamal Ahmed and Oracle Retail vice-president Chris James at the glittering ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House.

The Gowling WLG Retailer of the Year was awarded to electricals retailer Dixons Carphone and the Clarity Retail Leader of the Year was won by Co-operative Group chief executive Richard Pennycook.

Other winners on the night included Screwfix, Shop Direct and Amazon.
