Apple is eyeing an ambitious underground store in London that would be a similar format to its iconic cube shop on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
The technology giant is locked in talks with Tribeca Holdings to take space in Old Spitalfields Market.
According to Property Week, Apple has been working with luxury property investor Tribeca on a planning application for the site.
It could take up to two years to come to fruition.
Apple already has five stores in London at Brent Cross, Covent Garden, Regent Street and Westfield’s Stratford City and White City shopping centres.
Apple declined to comment.
