Aldi has partnered with chef Jean-Christophe Novelli to create a series of pop-up restaurants in five cities as part of its Christmas campaign.
The discount supermarket and Novelli are visiting five cities to offer customers the chance to secure a table for a luxury Christmas meal by “tweeting to eat”.
Up to 50 people in each city will eat Christmas dinner made from products from Aldi’s Specially Selected range with wines from Aldi’s Exquisite range.
The pop-up events will take place at restaurants in Glasgow on November 21, London on November 24, Newcastle on November 26, Manchester on December 1 and Birmingham on December 10.
People can win a reservation for themselves and a friend by visiting Aldi’s Twitter account and telling the supermarket why they should win using #AldiFestiveFeast.
Aldi’s joint managing director of corporate buying, Tony Baines, said: “Our Christmas pop-up restaurants are just a taster of what can be achieved at home this Christmas time. Jean-Christophe Novelli has put together a luxury menu that shows off our festive range to the full and offers better value than other supermarkets. We hope that our consumers will enjoy it.”
The move is part of Aldi’s “Everyone’s coming to us this Christmas” campaign.
