The lingerie and sex toy retailer has appointed Paula Minowa to replace Julie Harris, who retired earlier this year.
Minowa, who starts on January 5, was most recently format development director at Asda.
Ann Summers chief executive Jacqueline Gold said: "We are delighted to welcome Paula into the team. Her invaluable expertise will serve not only to consolidate the strength of the directorship but will drive Ann Summers forward into the next exciting period for the business."
