The ad opens with Ant and Dec shopping for their Christmas party and loading their trolley with nothing but pickled onions and pineapple chunks.
They clash trolleys with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, who helps them finish their shop. They then head back to Ant and Dec's house where Jamie shows them how to make some quick and easy, fun Christmas snacks.
The ads will run alongside several deals, which together aim to promote a brand message of value, quality and fun.
A Sainsbury’s spokeswoman said: “We went for this theme because everyone’s feeling the pinch and, more so than ever, really do want a stress-free Christmas full of fun and lightness.”
