Two senior Asda personnel directors have left the retailer and another is poised to leave its food sourcing division.
Caroline Massingham and Sarah Dickins left Asda yesterday while Nick Trifunovic is to depart its wholly-owned subsidiary, International Produce.
Massingham, formerly retail people director for Asda’s distribution arm and clothing brand George, left the position of people director which she took on from David Smith in January 2009.
Dickins had held the position of people operations and policy director at Asda since January and has worked for the retailer since 1998.
International Produce human resources director Trifunovic will retire at the end of this year and his responsibilities will be taken over by fellow human resources director Cathy Dawson.
Asda is yet to confirm replacements for Massingham and Dickins and no reason has been given for their departure.
Asda’s executive people director Hayley Tatum said of Massingham and Dickins: “While I respect and understand the carefully considered decisions they’ve both made, they will both be greatly missed. Their individual and collective contribution to Asda over many years has been immeasurable, helping create the unique people culture our customers recognise today.”
