Asos is to launch an ethical area on its website called the Green Room.
The Green Room will launch in February, promoting ethically sourced and organic offers. It will stock a new own-label range Asos Africa, designed with community groups in Africa.
Other brands to be sold in the Green Room include People Tree and its collaboration with Harry Potter star Emma Watson, Bassike and Terra Plana.
Separately, Asos marketing director Hash Lahda has left the business. A replacement is being sought. It is not known whether Lahda had another job to go to.
