Online giant Asos is trialling a loyalty scheme that gives customers a chance to earn points as they shop.
Shoppers selected for the trial will receive five points for every £1 spent at the etailer through the Asos Rewards scheme and will receive £5 off for every 500 points they earn.
Asos said it was testing the rewards programme with “a small, randomly selected group of customers” who will be asked for regular feedback about the scheme.
It said: “We expect testing to continue until at least Autumn 2014. During testing the Asos Rewards trial will only be available in the UK.”
Asos is the latest retailer to launch a rewards scheme, which have played a big part in garnering loyalty for retailers including Boots, Tesco and Sainsbury’s, which is part of the Nectar scheme.
Department store John Lewis debuted a card-based loyalty scheme last year.
