Womenswear chain Viyellla has been bought out of administration from Austin Reed.

Austin Reed, which also owns womenswear brand CC (formerly Country Casuals), has bought the business for an undisclosed sum including 40 of its 107 store portfolio.

Viyella collapsed into administration last month, one of the early new year victims of the economic downturn.
