Aylesbury park The Junction has started on site at its redevelopment of the Cambridge Close Retail Park at Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
The site will be developed in three phases. Existing tenants, including Wickes in 47,000 sq ft (4,365 sq m), Comet in 20,000 sq ft (1,860 sq m) and Argos in 14,000 sq ft (1,300 sq m), are all taking space at the scheme.
At the same time, three new tenants - Sports World, Harveys and Allied Carpets - have signed up to take units of 10,000 sq ft (930 sq m) each.
The existing scheme comprises 94,000 sq ft (8,730 sq m) and is being redeveloped along with a former council depot and fire station.
The development will create a scheme comprising 160,000 sq ft (14,865 sq m) of retail space and 20,000 sq ft (1,860 sq m) of leisure space.
The Junction chief executive Andrew Lewis-Pratt said: ‘Aylesbury is a great opportunity for us to add value to our portfolio. We are delighted with the lettings and that only 50,000 sq ft (4,645 sq m) remains available before we have even started on site.’
Jonathan Burns Associates is the letting agent.
