The Baird Group has promoted Mark Cotter to chief executive of the menswear specialist.
Cotter, who has been with Baird Group for 13 years, was promoted from his role as group managing director.
He replaces Peter Lucas who has moved as non-executive director. Lucas is also chairman of the fashion trade body UKFT.
Baird Group holding company Arafa Holdings chairman Dr Alaa Arafa said: “We are delighted Mark has accepted the role of chief executive and we look forward to supporting him and the team at Baird as they grow and develop the business in all the sectors it operates in.”
Baird Group is both a wholesaler and retailer. It runs concessions in retailers including Selfridges, House of Fraser and Debenhams as well as its own stores for brands including Jeff Banks, Racing Green and SuitsDirect.co.uk.
