Elizabeth Lachhar

Elizabeth Lachhar is a retail lead for Google Cloud in the UK and Ireland, and she is delighted to be the Google Cloud Be Inspired programme ambassador.

Elizabeth has worked in the technology sector for more than 20 years and has coached global companies and retailers on how to transform, pivot and build technology solutions that drive revenue, create operational efficiency and innovate for their customers.

She graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in business administration. Elizabeth started her career as a systems analyst in Aon Hewitt Consulting in Chicago where she developed her passion for tech, specifically how it can be used to foster a working culture that encourages people to innovate and work together to solve deep business challenges.

Elizabeth is an active member of Google’s Women In Cloud global community and is a lead for its UK and Ireland efforts. She is an ambassador for Google’s #IamRemarkable diversity, equity and inclusion programme, which strives to empower women and underrepresented groups to speak openly about their accomplishments in the workplace and beyond.

She lives in London with her daughter but travels back to New York regularly, where she lived for 15 years. Elizabeth is a runner and enjoys singing, Pilates and cycle classes.
