Beales sales director Neil Jones has resigned from the department store chain.

Neil Jones left Beales today after eight years at the business.

Jones joined Beales in 2000 and was appointed to the board in 2001.

Beales will operate with only three executive directors. Earlier in the year the retailer decided to reduce its number of non-executive directorships from three to two.

Former Bhs retail director Tony Brown joined Beales in June as chief executive.
