Menswear supplier and retailer BMB Clothing has agreed to acquire various licences and assets from John Langford.
The brands acquired include Pierre Cardin, Piscador, Frederick Theak, Sangan and Haines & Bonner.
The contract will complete on July 1 and the companies will work together until then to ensure a seamless transition.
BMB chairman Peter Lucas said: “We are delighted to add these brands to our existing portfolio and we will be working with Simon Crowther, chairman of John Langford, to ensure we get continuity and growth for all of the brands over the coming years.”
BMB has been at the centre of speculation that it is circling struggling menswear chain Speciality Retail Group (SRG) and could make a£25 million bid for the business.
