Iconic British fashion designer Katharine Hamnett looks set to make a UK comeback with a possible concessions deal.
BMB Group, the concessionaire business with a presence at Debenhams, Allders, Selfridges and House of Fraser, is understood to be in talks with the designer about bringing her brand back to the UK.
A spokesman for BMB said Katharine Hamnett would fit in well with its growing portfolio of womenswear labels.
Hamnett's two businesses hit trouble in 2001, but she is reportedly keen to take back control of her UK operations from a licensee.
