Less than a week after its latest profit warning, Boots has announced the resignation of director and chief financial officer Howard Dodd. He joined the company as chief financial officer in April 2002 and will remain in his post at least until the publication of the company's full-year results on May 19.
Dodd said: 'I have enjoyed the past three years at Boots. I have been considering this decision since the turn of the year. I will now fulfil my commitment to complete this year's financial results and support Richard [Baker] in an orderly transition.'
Work is now under way to find a successor.
