Retail sales showing green shoots, says BRC

Retail sales are showing signs of underlying strengthening of demand, according to the British Retail Consortium (BRC).

UK total retail sales inched up year-on-year in March – a show of green shoots despite downbeat consumer confidence, says the BRC.
