On Broadmead East five retailers have signed for units totalling 25,600 sq ft (2,380 sq m).
HMV has taken 10,600 sq ft (985 sq m) of space, Computer Exchange 10,000 sq ft (930 sq m), Mountain Warehouse 2,300 sq ft (215 sq m), Phones 4U 1,500 sq ft (140 sq m) and Virgin Media 1,200 sq ft (110 sq m).
At the same time, three independent urbanwear retailers, Salt Rock, Treds and Blue Banana, have signed for units on Horsefair North, which links with Cabot Circus via a new pedestrian boulevard on Concorde Street. The retailers have taken stores totalling 4,550 sq ft (420 sq m).
Both Broadmead East and Horsefair North are also owned by Cabot Circus landlord Bristol Alliance, a joint venture between Land Securities and Hammerson.
