Grocery group Musgrave GB has hired Andrew Mounsey as Budgens sales director.

Mounsey joins the group’s board on March 10 from Marks & Spencer, where he has been a member of the divisional executive within the Simply Food division. He has also worked for Thorntons, Adams and Woolworths, after starting his career with Bhs.

He takes over from Vince Maloney, who has become a Budgens independent retailer. Maloney planned to make this transition once Musgrave completed the divestment of the Budgens corporate estate.
