Allegations come ahead of Q3 results
French competition officials are understood to be investigating allegations of price fixing between Carrefour and Lego.
The retailer is said to have admitted that it is aware of the investigation, but declined to comment further, according to Reuters. The original report appeared in the Wall Street Journal.
Carrefour is preparing to post third-quarter sales. Analyst Goldman Sachs said it expected a 6.4 per cent in group sales. Like-for-likes were expected to increase by 2.3 per cent.
