Boots has unveiled its festive TV advert, which centres around pampering female customers who work on Christmas Day.
The health and beauty retailer’s Christmas advert features 45 women with professions ranging from paramedic to farmer whose careers mean they work on Christmas Day.
In the 60-second TV advert, the working women are given makeovers by Boots’ beauty advisors as an ‘early Christmas present’, culminating in a reveal to their friends and family.
Boots’ director of customer strategy and communications Helen Jeremiah said: “We wanted to give that gift to some inspiring women who spend their time – even on Christmas Day – helping others.
“For all that they do for their communities we wanted to give them an early Christmas gift.”
The ad, which will air tomorrow night during Coronation Street, is set to an exclusive recording of Everybody’s Free to Feel Good by Kylie Minogue.
A paramedic, nurse and firefighter from the TV advert will also feature in the retailer’s accompanying national print campaign.
