The Co-operative director of marketing Patrick Allen has left the business.
It is not yet clear if Allen will be replaced.
Allen was one of the retailer’s key directors, and was behind the brand campaign last year featuring Bob Dylan’s hit Blowin in the Wind to push its ethical credentials.
In January, the Co-op made some of its marketing roles redundant and unified the buying and marketing teams in its food business.
Debbie Robinson, director of food retail marketing has departed, while David Messom, director of food retail trading, is planning to leave. Both positions will cease to exist.
