Online retailer Very’s partnership with Holly Willoughby is set to end after four years as the etailer turns its attention to new brands and designers.
TV presenter Willoughby has been one of the faces of Shop Direct-owned Very since its launch in 2009 and has fronted 12 collections with the retailer.
This autumn will be Willoughby’s last season with Very, Retail-week can reveal. The etailer will continue to work with fellow celebrity designer Fearne Cotton, who recently added furniture and homewares to her range.
Very retail director Jon Owen said it will be working “even more closely” with Cotton along with some “great new designers”.
The retailer is also launching its Definitions range, which targets a slightly older, professional woman, this week, which Owen said will be “front and centre” of its fashion advertising as it moves into the autumn season.
He said: “Holly helped us to launch Very.co.uk and has done a great job designing feminine, flattering clothes for real women. Holly has played a big part in our success over the last four years and we’d like to thank her for a great partnership and wish her all the best for the future.”
Willoughby said: “After four great years working with Very.co.uk on my clothing ranges, I have made the decision that the autumn winter 13 collection will be my last so I can focus on other areas of my life and different new projects.”
