Jacques Vert has hired former Disney Stores joint managing director John Hobson as its new multichannel director.
Hobson, who joins this week, was joint managing director at Disney Stores Europe alongside new Jacques Vert boss Teresa Tideman.
He will take responsibility for the group’s retail operations, ecommerce, customer service, warehousing and distribution.
Hobson, who had responsibility for business operations at Disney Stores Europe, has fashion experience at both BHS, where we was buying director, and Marks & Spencer.
Tideman said: “John’s extensive experience will add huge value to the group and be a key driver in helping us take the business forward. I am delighted to welcome John to the business and look forward to working with him.”
Jacques Vert has also hired Sandra Clarke as design director. Clarke, who is currently at occasionwear specialist Coast, will join at the end of the month and will work with brand director Amanda Lester.
The appointments follow the hire of former BAA and Debenhams man Mark Aldridge who joined as group marketing director last month.
