DIY group Kingfisher has split the responsibilities held by outgoing chief operating officer Euan Sutherland to two members of its senior management team.
Guy Colleau, currently chief executive of its French business Castorama, will become chief executive for group sourcing and offer.
Sutherland was unveiled as the new chief executive of the Co-operative Group in December. He joins the group in May.
His multichannel and group development responsibilities at Kingfisher will be given to Screwfix boss Steve Willett, who will become chief executive of group development and productivity.
Willett will remain in charge of Screwfix while commercial strategy director Véronique Laury will succeed Colleau as chief executive of Castorama.
Both Willett and Colleau will join Kingfisher’s executive team when they take up the position on March 1.
