It’s the 40th anniversary of Rubik’s cube, the puzzle created by Hungarian Ernő Rubik and Tesco’s Hungarian business made the most of the anniversary.
The retailer launched a marketing campaign to mark the occasion and Rubik himself made an appearance at the launch of a loyalty programme.
Tesco even floated a giant Rubik’s Cube down the Danube – this picture is from Tesco Hungary chief executive Nigel Jones.
