Marks & Spencer has launched a promotion with ITV Weather to highlight its fresh food credentials.
The ‘fresh market update’ campaign made its debut last night after the 6pm news and will run for six weeks. It is designed to highlight M&S’ food division’s “unrivalled quality, exceptional supplier relationships and leading standards in sustainable sourcing”.
The farm-to-fork stories will be fronted by weather presenter Lucy Verasamy and will include online, social media and in-store elements as well as TV.
An M&S spokeswoman said: “We’re passionate about offering our customers great quality, seasonal fresh food at trusted, everyday value. We know all eyes are on the weather during the summer and our partnership with ITV gives us a nightly window into the nation’s homes to tell the stories behind our produce and meat.”
ITV National Weather is one of the UK’s most popular weather bulletins and reaches more than 4 million people a day.
The M&S campaign was created in collaboration with ITV and creative agency Grey, along with media agency Mindshare UK.
