Retail sales inch up in July boosted by online promotions
Retail sales rose in the month of July, largely due to an uptick in non-store trading.
Retail sales by total volumes grew 0.3% in July, up from a decline of 1.2% in June, according to the latest retail sales data from the Office for National Statistics.
