Debenhams has opened in a 60,000 sq ft former Focus unit on Ravenside Retail Park, Chesterfield.
The department store group will join existing retailers Next, Currys and Pets at Home on the 100,000 sq ft Land Securities park. Maplin also opened a new 4,000 sq ft store in the summer.
In addition, planning consent has been granted for the construction of an extra 26,500 sq ft of floor space at the opposite end of the park to open two more stores in summer next year.
Land Securities head of retail warehousing Dominic O’Rourke said: “The arrival of Debenhams is a significant step forward for the park and further cements its place as a standalone shopping destination.
“We are still seeing occupiers look for the right space in the right locations and in attracting Debenhams we are now able to progress further plans to bring other retailers to the site.”
