Carrefour has unveiled a new discount range that will be introduced across all of its chains in France and Belgium by the end
of the month.
The retailer hopes that the range will attract customers tightening their belts during the recession and help it compete with discount groups such as Aldi and Lidl, which have grown in popularity during the downturn.
The discount range will include more than 400 food and non-food SKUs and feature white, no-frills packaging to distinguish it.
