Pizza delivery chain Domino's has opened 19 shops in the first half of 2004, bringing its nationwide chain to 337, up from 290 shops a year ago.
The most recent acquisitions include 23 Marina Drive, Ellesmere Port; 235-241 Cheriton Road, Folkestone; 175 Stourbridge Road, Halesowen; Unit 8a Inches Retail Park, Inverness; 115a Friern Barnet Road, Southgate, London N11; and 341 Wellington Road North, Heaton Chapel, Manchester.
The news came as chief executive Stephen Hemsley announced pre-tax profits up 41.5 per cent for the period to£4.10 million, with like-for-like sales up 4.9 per cent.
