Iceland boss Richard Walker, Co-op Food chief executive Jo Whitfield and former Sainsbury’s supremo Mike Coupe have joined the jam-packed line-up for Retail Week Live 2022.
The trio is among the first 70 speakers to be confirmed for this year’s event, which takes place at Old Billingsgate in London on May 24 and 25.
The likes of Ocado Solutions boss Luke Jensen, Shopify EMEA managing director Shimona Mehta, Marks & Spencer’s head of digital strategy and innovation Stuart Ramage and Frugi boss Sarah Clark are among the other big-name speakers set to take to the stage in a little over two months’ time.
For the first time in 2022, the Retail Week Live agenda has been split into two distinct themes, allowing delegates the option of purchasing one-day passes.
Day one, on Tuesday, May 24, will focus on digital transformation and innovation. Digital directors and chief information officers from businesses including Boohoo, Boots and The Very Group will discuss themes ranging from data and the future of customer experience to supply chain and operational excellence.
On day two, Wednesday, May 25, the focus will shift to people and the planet, as leaders from the John Lewis Partnership, Unilever, Nespresso and rental platforms Rotaro, Cocoon and Hirestreet take centre stage.
Some 60% of this year’s speakers are c-suite level, while 55% are women.
