Aldo-owned footwear fascia Call It Spring is closing its debut Oxford Street store after just 15 months of trading.
The store, at the east end of Oxford Street, was the Canadian footwear giant’s first European standalone for Call it Spring, which targets a younger audience than sister brand Aldo.
Aldo group vice-president Jean-Pierre Généreux told Retail Week when the store opened that although he had no immediate plans to extend the UK estate, on a global stage he expected Call It Spring to be bigger than Aldo.
Call It Spring will continue selling through its concessions in Debenhams in the UK.
Call It Spring was unavailable for comment.
