Amazon has launched its ‘try before you buy’ fashion proposition in the UK.
The etail titan has brought its Prime Wardrobe service across the pond, four months after it was introduced in the US.
Prime Wardrobe, which is available exclusively to Amazon Prime members, allows shoppers to have up to eight products delivered free of charge.
Customers then have seven days to try their orders on at home, pay for the items they want to keep and return the rest.
Thousands of products across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, shoes, bags and accessories categories will be available to order through Prime Wardrobe.
Retailers including New Look, Ted Baker, Miss Selfridge and LK Bennett will have collections stocked on Prime Wardrobe, alongside garments from brands such as Calvin Klein, Levi’s, Lacoste and Puma.
Susan Saideman, vice-president of Amazon Fashion Europe, said: “Whether you want to try out some new wardrobe staples, the latest seasonal trends, or need new clothes for the family with the option to try multiple sizes, colours and styles – Prime Wardrobe makes shopping at Amazon easier than ever.”
Xavier Garambois, vice-president of Amazon EU Retail, added: “Fit is an important factor when it comes to buying clothes and shoes, and with Prime Wardrobe, Amazon Prime members can try their purchases in the comfort of their own home at no extra cost.
“We are excited to bring this service to Amazon Prime members in the UK following its successful launch in the US in June.”
