Anthropologie is to triple its store count from three to nine over the next two years.
The homewares and fashion specialist, which currently has two stores in London and one in Edinburgh, is on the hunt for six new locations to extend its reach.
A requirement list drawn up by property agent The McDevitt Company and seen by Retail Week reveals the retailer is looking for properties in Covent Garden and Westfield London as well as location in the South West, Midlands, Yorkshire and Scotland.
The retailer, which has a strong focus on quirky in-store merchandising, is looking for stores with a minimum of 5,000 sq ft of retail space.
McDevitt is also on the hunt to expand fashion retailer Urban Outfitter’s store portfolio.
The retailer is looking to open stores in Lancashire, central and Greater London and East Anglia. It is also looking for “unusual” commercial properties in central London to launch new concept stores.
