Turnaround specialist Endless is reported to considering a bid for collapsed value retail chain Ethel Austin.
Ethel Austin was put into administration earlier this month along with its sister company Au Naturale. MCR is the administrator for the business which employs over 3,700 staff.
Endless could bid for the business according to the Sunday Express, it also owns the British Bookshop and Stationers and The Works.
Separately MCR is also said to have received eight detailed bids for childrenswear chain Adams. Adams was forced into administration when its new owners Habib Alvi failed to keep up payments to former owner John Shannon.
