Active lifestyle retailer Fat Face is expanding its childrenswear business and will triple the number of stores offering Kids Kit next season.
Chief executive Louise Barnes said the range would reach 47 stores by September. There are also plans to boost footwear and jewellery ranges.
‘We have had great success with a small (footwear) offer and are looking at a number of options,’ said Barnes. ‘They will be shoes that complement the clothes - not kitten heels.’
The 70-store outfit plans to double its store portfolio by 2006.
