Finery has appointed John Hind as its new chief executive to succeed current boss and company co-founder Nickyl Raithatha.
Hind – interim chief executive at fashion brand Me+Em – will join the womenswear retailer later this month as it continues to evolve from a pureplay into an omnichannel business.
Raithatha will move into a board position, remaining involved as an advisor and shareholder.
He has run Finery since its inception in 2014, establishing its online operations across 10 countries and its partnerships with John Lewis, Selfridges and Zalando.
Finery’s incoming boss, who previously ran Netherlands-based firm We Fashion, said: “I have watched Finery achieve impressive growth over the last two years and see strong potential to build the brand, product, customer experience, digital and international operations further and take this innovative and exciting brand to the next stage of its development.”
