Casualwear chain Gap has joined forces with designer label House of Valentino to launch a womenswear capsule collection.
The collection, created by Valentino creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, will launch in late November. It will be sold in Gap’s Oxford Street store, London indie Dover Street Market as well as Gap’s flagship store in Milan and Paris indie Colette.
Stephen Sunnucks, president of Europe and strategic alliances at Gap, said: “As we open our first Gap stores in Milan and Rome, we’re thrilled to be welcomed by the house of Valentino, with its unique position in Italy’s fashion heritage and to work with Maria Grazia and Pier Paolo, and their modern, fresh take on women’s style.”
