Three senior executives have left menswear brand Hackett London over the past few weeks, Retail Week has learned.
Ecommerce director Kristine Kirby, who has been with Hackett for just nine months, is understood to have left the business while long-standing retail director Lucinda Gittins has joined Thomas Pink.
It is unclear whether Kirby has a new role. She has previously had stints at Monsoon and Fat Face and set up US maternity giant Zulily’s UK business.
Meanwhile head of wholesale operations Berta Hortiguela is understood to have joined footwear brand Charlotte Olympia.
Hackett, which is owned by Pepe Jeans, reported a 37% tumble in annual profit to £3.9m in the year to April 2013, due to weak UK sales.
It said UK retail sales were hit by “overall lower consumer confidence, adverse weather conditions and lower footfall during the summer Olympics.”
Pepe is understood to have hired Morgan Stanley to explore a sale of the business, including Hackett, which could fetch as much as €700m.
Hackett was contacted for comment but did not respond.
