H&M’s Creator Studio print-on-demand service “drastically reduces” carbon emissions and UK delivery times

The new centre, which is operated by print-on-demand provider T Shirts & Sons, is located on West Wilts Trading Estate, Westbury, Wiltshire.

The opening of the hub marks a milestone for the business and H&M Group said it will “drastically reduce” carbon emissions from deliveries as well as reducing UK delivery times to between two and four days.

Prior to the opening of the centre, orders made from the UK were being fulfilled from the Czech Republic.

The news also means that Creator Studio merchandise will no longer be subject to import duties, resulting in lower costs for customers. And UK merchants will now be able to fulfil business-to-business payments in GB pounds.

The merchandise service, owned by H&M Group, first launched in 2021 and introduced a new generative-AI powered clothing creation tool to the service in 2023.

Creator Studio managing director Dinesh Nayar said: Since launching Creator Studio in 2021, opening a regional hub in the UK has been a clear goal of ours. Sustainability is at the core of our business model and we’re delighted that our UK customers can now shop confident in the knowledge that their purchases are environmentally stable. We can’t wait to see what UK artists across the country create using our technology.”

T Shirt & Sons commercial director Adam Golder added: “We already have a partnership with Creator Studio at our facility in Venlo, Netherlands, and are delighted to be able to expand our work together to the UK. Combining Creator Studio’s innovative technology with our decades-long experience in the UK market, we’re confident that this collaboration will provide creatives all over the world with an alternative solution to their merchandise needs in the lucrative UK market.”
