Hobbs has reported a strong Christmas with total sales up 16.4% over the festive period.
The fashion retailer said sales in store rose 6.1% in the 10 weeks to January 5 while online sales surged by a record 60.2%.
Hobbs said its busiest online trading day was Boxing Day, with sales up a “staggering” 80% due to improved conversion rates.
The retailer said sales of dresses, ankle boots and accessories, as well as its young fashion label NW3, had been strong.
The company said it is well placed to continue its growth trajectory both domestically and internationally into 2013.
Hobbs chairman Iain MacRitchie said: “We are delighted with our Christmas performance, achieving good growth in sales across all labels and channels, despite a tough trading environment.”
He added: “Our multichannel offer plays an important role in providing our customers with a great shopping experience during the busy Christmas period. While we anticipate conditions will remain challenging for the retail sector over the coming year, we are looking forward to continued growth across the business both domestically and internationally in 2013.”
