House of Fraser has acquired premium fashion brand Issa as part of its ongoing bid to become a fashion authority on the high street.
HoF acquired Issa, a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge, for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition feeds into House of Fraser’s new strategy of reviewing its house brands and external labels in a bid to become a fashion authority and better focus on its core customer.
The first range will be available in-store and online from autumn/winter 2017 and will feature 50 occasionwear pieces such as dresses, jumpsuits, marabou jackets and accessories.
Prices will range from £25 to £79 for accessories and £79 to £199 for clothing.
House of Fraser executive director for buying and design Maria Hollins said: “[Issa] is such an iconic premium British fashion label, with a strong reputation among fashion-focused customers.
“It truly epitomises confidence for women, something which resonates well with our customers.
“The design and buying team have worked extremely hard over the last 10 months to develop a range that was true to the Issa brand, by keeping the luxury element of the clothing yet offering a modern twist.”
