Premium fashion retailer Jaeger is to enter the Russian market with two Jaeger London stores.
In a collaboration with one of Russia’s luxury brand distributors, JamilCo, Jaeger will open two 130 sq metre stores in central Moscow this spring.
The shops will be in the Vremena Goda mall on Kutuzovskii Prospekt and Metropolis on Leningradskii Prospekt. Another two stores will open in Moscow and St Petersburg in the autumn.
Jaeger chief executive Belinda Earl said: “The Russian market is dynamic and vibrant, and we look forward to attracting new customers to Jaeger.”
Khaled Jamil, JamilCo president, said: “Jaeger has global appeal and we are positive that Russian consumers will appreciate the brand’s heritage of noble fibres and unique designs.”
Last September Jaeger expanded into Italy with the opening of four shop-in-shops in Coin department stores.
In the UK Jaeger has 46 stores.
