Adams Childrenswear and Mini Mode have been sold to investment group Habib Alvi Investments, an arm of Habib Alvi Group.
Former owner of the parent group, JHS Childrenswear John Shannon, who originally bought the business in February 2007, said that the business would really benefit from the sale.
Shannon bougth 120 Adams stores back out of administration in February this year, he said: “It was clear that Adams and Mini Mode would require additional investment to achieve their full growth potential. I am glad to have completed this transaction which allows the Adams Group to prosper.”
Majad Ajmi, a representative of Habib Alvi Group said: “We have been interested in the retail sector and particularly in the Adams businesses for some time, as they offer an exciting opportunity to build on the excellent progress made in the growth and development of these widely recognised brands.”
Kidswear brand Mini Mode is sold through health and beauty chain Boots.
