Matalan aims to offer “more choice at the right price point”

Among the new brands are womenswear additions including AX Paris, Linzi, Urban Bliss and Gini London, as well as jewellery brands Jon Richard and Say It With.

In menswear, Matalan customers will now be able to shop French Connection, Tokyo Laundry, Duck & Cover and Crosshatch among others.

Totes has joined the retailer’s footwear offering along with childrenswear brands Ickle Bubba and Hauck and homeware brands RU Comfy and ValueLights.

Matalan said the new brands will help offer more of what customers want in one place and help to make shopping at Matalan a “more enjoyable, easier and hassle-free experience” over the next few months.

Chief customer and omnichannel officer Ali Jones said: “This is our third drop of new online brands since Christmas, which is testament to how well they have been received by Matalan shoppers who we know are on the hunt for more choice and newness when they visit us.

“With such a wide range of relevant and fashionable brands available alongside our core Matalan collections, we are a ‘one-stop shop’ for customers, which is key to our strategy of building a modern, stronger Matalan.”

The news follows the introduction of 10 new brands in December 2023 and a further 17 in April this year as Matalan makes strides on its bid to offer “more choice at the right price point”.
