Upmarket handbag brand Mulberry has announced that sales and profits for the year to 31 March are going to “exceed market expectations”
In a stock exchange announcement this morning, the company said that due to strong UK and export sales during January and February, the company’s performance for the full year will be better than previously guided. The company added that the strong performance has carried on into March.
The company said that the increased sales had helped margins by improving operational gearing, and that orders for the Autumn collection have been “encouraging.”
