The premium menswear etail site emulates its big sister site and combines editorial and international designers including Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Lanvin and Paul Smith.
The editorial-driven site includes an online magazine, The Journal, and home page features such as ‘The 32 Essential Items Every Man Should Own’ and a video interview with designer Paul Smith.
Those who had registered to be founding members of the site had an exclusive preview of the site from last Friday.
Mr Porter will ship to more than 170 countries and is offering a same day delivery service to London and New York.
The Richemont-owned site, which is aimed at affluent male shoppers, has a team of personal shoppers who can help construct an outfit, build an entire wardrobe and select key pieces ahead of their arrival onto site.
In June last year Natalie Massenet, founder and executive chairman of Net-a-Porter, said: “This is an incredibly exciting new venture for us and one we have been planning for some time. We have always said that Net-a-Porter will remain a woman’s brand and now we are ready to create a dedicated men’s shopping destination entirely conceived with the stylish man in mind.”
