Next is poised to launch a new catwalk-inspired range for its customers.
The new collection, called Runway, will be merchandised separately to Next’s main range to differentiate it and not alienate its current customers.
Last year Next launched Runway shoes, which have been successful for the retailer and led to the clothing and accessories range. It will be launched in selected stores as part of its autumn/winter range. It will have the same price points as the rest of Next’s collection, apart from a few higher-priced selected pieces.
Next will also be launching a sports range. Although it has sold leisurewear before, this will be its first “technical” sports range for customers to use for the gym and other sporting activities.
There will be both a men’s and women’s range sold in selected stores and in the Next Directory.
